I recently took a trip to Queenstown, Wanaka and Arrowtown with the whanau. Naturally, I took my camera with me. It’s so picturesque down there. You can really understand how this place has grown to be a beloved tourist destination. Even though Queenstown was coming out of Covid hibernation, the town was buzzing with keen tourists (all from New Zealand).
Personally, I think Autumn is the best time of year to take photos. With the beautiful burnt ambers, reds and golden hues on the mountains, the leaves and trees.
The snow was starting to dust the pinnacles of the Remarkables, a promise of a magical winter ski season.
It would be wonderful to come back again and photograph the winter season.
